DQ is still in the hospital.  they got the Ins to approve a stay until Thursday Morn and think they will be able to get them to approve til Fri morning.  She has had a few codes called on her for being aggressive/violent towards peers on the unit over the weekend.  They have upped one of her meds and that seems to helping. so far the day has been better

DQ had to be restrained and put into seculsion tonight....she was cutting with a fork, and was told to stop and give up fork, she didn't, she was again told to give up the fork or a code would be called, and she ran at the staff still holding the fork.  That is so not my daughter...they said she might have just been trying to get out of the dining ( Read more... )

Saturday morning, -Teen and I drove to see DQ.  WE brought her clothes...she hugged us, showed us the unit, introduced us to her roommate and then told us to leave....and started to get aggitated when we did not move quickly enough.  I said that Daddy and Nana might come down today,, DQ said nope, no visitors.  We were in and out in about 5 minutes ( Read more... )

Hubby and I just got home from having DQ hospitalized.  She was making suicidal statements at school....she has had a very rough week of other girls threatening to beat her up....and was sent to the Principal's office for telling one of the girls to either shut up or do it,...the school said that was a threat ( Read more... )

there was an arrest the SHE's home...the boyfriend's step-father was arrested  and charged with grand larceny 4, and being in possession of stolen property.  No bail was set, as he has done time before on drug charges.
What a wonderful family she lives with....@@

oh...what a long week this was for being a 4 day work week!
Teenwill be having surgery to remove 2 lumps from her breast.  I took her to the same surgeon who did my lumpectomy a few years ago.  He said he has never seen an 18 with breast cancer but told her that it could happen. Teen's birth brother found her on FAcebook.... he lived with us for a while.  their mother wanted him back but not Teen.....not sure how I feel about this...Teen seems to be very quiet about it

Teen is now in college...and finished her first week.  I so wish she would get her liscense so we would not have to drive 30 miles roundtrip to take her or get her. Actually, somedays it fits my schedule perfectly.  Itold her that she needs to start asking people where they live so that she can start to carpool, and we will pay for gas.  I HATE  ( Read more... )

I am interviewing for a supervisorary position today.  We were told at first that it would not entail dealing with the BS of the office but that is a new requirement they put in.  It has quite a pay raise and with Teen qoing to college and the financial aid looking like crap ( Read more... )
