I found a picture of my Grandfather. Why is that so cool? Because it was a picture that my father had never seen. My Grandfather died in 1957, when my Dad was 16. My neighbor's (and one of my closest friends) daughter just had a baby girl! We were all convinced it was a boy. But, since it's girl she can use the very expensive bedding that my Mom bought for the crib when Shani was born. It is too nice to just give/throw away so I have been saving it.

Last night I took my boys to see Harry Potter at 11:59 PM. All I will say is we loved it! What I really wanted to tell you all is that the last trailer before the movie (there must have been at least 6 trailers) was Happy Feet. Same as the one online but I think it looks better on the big screen.

Sruli will be on the 50s Malt Shop Float wearing a white tuxedo shirt and jacket, black pants and black bow tie.

For those in the NY Metro area, I just wanted to tell you that my son Sruli will be on one of the Macy's floats. He has a friend who's Dad is a VP at Macy's and he gets to go every year and bring a friend. He invites Sruli 2 years ago but we were going away so he tried again this year. 2 years ago today was the first time I saw BFO and met hugh at the stage door. I miss him.

I was awakened at 5:50 this morning by a phone call. My neighbor's father ( a man in his 60's) and son (8) went hiking yesterday and they never came home. This isn't the first time they have gone hiking but it is the first time they haven't been heard from. They just showed him backstage answering the question "where will you keep it?" Hugh's answer "in storage". Someone asked why and he said "becuase I don't have a home at the moment." Poor baby! He can come live here with me if he wants!
