New Meaning to the Word 'Broke"

Pbbbbttt. Now I've really done it. 6-4 I fell off my front steps and broke my left femur just below the shoulder. What a mess. Relearning everything from washing my toes to picking my nose. My lovely job is working around this and I won't lose much money unless I need to be gone for more than 3 weeks. But the doctor is reserving his opinions ( Read more... )

Tomorrow I have the pleasure of firing up my own lawn mower for the first time. Breakfast will consist of much coffee, toast and eggs and mower manuel. I need to find where and how to put the oil in (it was drained for the winter season last fall by the person who sold it to me) and become familiar with mower care and feeding. I recently became an assisting minister at my church. I did this at my former church, also, which closed. Hoping I will not have the same affect at this one! Anyhoo, this was my 2nd Sunday doing this and they usually have me cant the psalm because the congregation likes to do that and i'm the only one on the staff who is comfortable with it. Snort. We wuz robbed!!! Rothlisberger was NOT across the goal line or even on the goal line for that 2nd so-called touchdown. It was caught in living color that he landed about 8 inches short and squirmed his arms and torso across the line after he had come to ground with both elbows.
