I had such a great time inserting characters that I love, but haven't gotten a chance to write much of before, like Jack and Martha and Ianto. That's one of the nice things about writing longer things, I realize now, is that you now have time to have more characters and explore different relationships! It's fuuuun :D.

But I will leave you with this one hint: aside from Rose, the Doctor, and one or two others, there isn't exactly one character from DW that correlates with one from the play. So Jack could very well be playing the conglomerate of two different roles and characteristics. Of course, which two (or whatever combination therein!) he plays will be revealed in the later installments!
