Mark thanks so much for helping out on Saturday. The last four days have been intensely long for me and it was a relief that the move went as smoothly as it did. I owe you dinner, and don't even try to deny me.
as for the parents wanting to see you, I did that after college, except I lived about 4 hours away and still tried to go visit my mother every 6 weeks or so. Now I see her maybe every 3 months. We talk on the phone, email etc. She's used to it. Sure the family wants to see you, sure you live in town but don't let guilt (because they gave you so much, helped you through college etc) be the motivator. They have to realize that you're an adult and you have your own life and sure you love them and want to see you but let them know that you're also busy and can't come visit every weekend or every other weekend. They'll come around to the fact that you've grown up eventually.
