I did but I hate the way I look in it. But I just realized that's the only one I have of Alison and I by myself, askldjfhaksdfd. I thought I had one before but I forgot we only have the group one from Knoxville. Tbh I much prefer the one where I'm hugging her because 1) I'm hugging ALISON KRAUSS AND HER HANDS ARE ON ME AND I'M TOUCHING HER, 2) The grin on her face means so fucking much to me, 3) You can't see my face and 4) My hair looks decent in it. I just can'tttttttt even. Twice now. Twice. AND SHE REMEMBERED US.

LOL! It's a good picture though! I'm the same way with my Amanda ones. I hate all three, it's either my bangs are in the way, I'm standing all stiff (in comparison to my Chris photos), or I'm like, "WILL YOU LOOSEN UP, SELF. PLEASE." It is probably a thing to do with idols~ or something. I don't know. I ADORE THE ONE OF YOU TWO HUGGING. SO CUTE OMG. :')))))))))))) You two are squeezing the crap out of each other, too. LOL.

But don't worry, with how she remembers you guys, there will be many more pictures. :))

WE ARE I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THAT. I totally squeezed her and I'm weird because the only feeling I remember of like, touching her, is the way her hair feels underneath my hands when my hands were on her back.

She really is. She's not a huge celebrity or anything so I don't think she deals with meeting fans much, so I never would have thought she'd be so beautiful and wonderful to us - and I think part of it was because she recognized us from Knoxville and was comfortable - but this time and last time, she was everything I could have wanted and more. There's nothing better than meeting your favorite person and having her exceed every expectation. ♥

I agree that it's so much easier to meet your favorite celebrity the second time. They're closer to a "normal person", so much of your fangirl nerves are diluted. In some ways that makes the first meeting more special, but in other ways it makes the second meeting more special. The more you see them, the more the "idol" bond weakens and the more something closer to a "friendship" bond strengthens, and both are polar opposites on the same spectrum of beautiful love. There's never not love, it's always equal though it changes. And I really love that. Glad you had a great time!

Was that how it was when you met Paula for the second time?

(Did she remember you? I can't remember if she did or didn't)

I think it really helped that Alison treated us like we were friends instead of fans - telling us about the AC/DC song, asking when we got in/when we're leaving, etc. I had no idea it was going to be like this this time around, and I think it made it more special to me because I didn't embarrass myself by being a spaz or say random things, and I just felt so comfortable around her and I didn't even really fangirl on her this time, just told her about how this was my first time in NYC.

You know, the six times I met Reba - this never happened once. It makes me really glad that I waited for Alison. ♥
