mental health, normalized, to talk or not to talk, scientificaly, it is healthy to talk about it, prompt, groups, burden, peer support, counselor

I think it’s very important, I have had my battles with mental illness. At first I didn’t want to tell anyone. But my attitude has changed so much.
Finding a good therapist and supportive family and friends is utmost important.

Anytime you’re having a bad day I’m here for you.

Hugs- Julie

Thank you Julie! Same for you. I’m able to get to my phone for most of the day. A good therapist is key. You are not always going to find a therapist that you are comfortable right away. Sometimes it takes trying a second or third (some might try even more) to find the one for you. I have had a lot of traumatic things happen in my life so I just find it’s easier for me to talk with just my counselor or my peer groups. Peer groups have helped me tremendously. They just make me feel not so alone.
