Oh, I hope he gets better soon! Poor little guy. Yeah, I heard that mrsa is not a fun thing at all to deal with. I'll be praying. When should he show signs of improvement?

Cyrus got staph infection a few years ago. He was messing around at daycare and fell and hit his eye on a metal garbage can. He got stitches and a few days later he had these welt looking things on his legs and arms. We thought they were bug bites but within a day they looked worse so we took him back to the dr. They said good thing as it was staph and put him on antib's imemdiatley (same thing if it goes untreated and makes it to the blood = not good). He was fine. Actually, another kid I know just had it recently and even with the antib's it didn't go away, so they had to go back and get stronger antib's and a topical ointment. Just keep an eye on it. Cyrus' case wasn't too bad but our friends son was. Her doctor said it will get worse before it gets better but keep an eye on it and if things do not improve, take him back to the dr. I hope it's gone soon!
