Took the day off on Wed to spend some time with my dear hubby. Turned out to be a pretty good day all in all. We dropped the kids off at school and went to East Coast Park for a quiet breakfast. On a sunny Sunday afternoon, Princess Huda wonders if there was to be an extended weekend again.

Huda: Mommy, is tomorrow a school day or is it another holiday?

Me: It's a school day, Huda.

Huda: But why? Two Mondays ago were holidays. Why isn't tomorrow a holiday too.

She has the right idea though. How I wish it were an extended weekend again!!!

The situation is so bad in Aceh it seems that a group of women looted an aid post to find food.

Having lunch now. Mee bandung from canteen. Very disappointed. Chef forgot to add the all important ingredient. The chilli padi (bird's eye chilli, for the unitiated).

After work yesterday, my dear daughter 'requested' that we went to the Adam Road food centre for dinner.
