I think you need to see someone and get some help. It's getting on into that time of year where my seasonal depression sets in. There are generic anti depressants which really don't cost too much.

I work with a lot of people here in Houston who get eviction notices (I am a case manager for hurricane victims) and a lot of them call freaking out saying they are being evicted, when in reality they are not. I have NO idea if the law is different here than in MN since I had never dealt with, or known someone who dealt with that type of situation there...but here, just because they put a eviction notice on your door or tell you you are evicted means pretty much shit. They have to take you to court and you have a chance to say your side of why you can not afford rent, etc. etc. They put eviction letters up because they are trying to take advantage of people, basically because people dont know their rights. They think by putting up an eviction notice will get them out and they won't have to pay to go to court...they are ALWAYS trying to save a buck. If they put a lock out on your door too before going to court, you call the police, that's VERY illegal regardless of what they say, they are just trying to take advantage. I have no idea ( ... )

Melissa, sorry for the slow responce but thank you so much for the advice- I took it to heart, and all is in the clear I got emergency assistance to help and they are not choosing to bring us to court
