Well, I finally got the hoop skirt to work, and split the overskirt (which is also a period way of wearing it, rather than just tucked up as I was trying to do) to show it off. I think it came out well. Now I just need the big huge loads of chemise to wear with it ( Read more... )

So today I started my new physical conditioning program with the goal of not dying in Disney World of heat exhaustion or a heart attack. I'm not unhealthy, per se, just very (very very) out of shape. Well, all right, so I'm a little bit behind. But I have just broken 25,000 words! Hoorah! And I hope to get a few more in tonight as well. I'm a little worried the section that I'm working on right now will be rather dull to other people. Its more court intrigue than action. But its whats in the plan.

So far so good. 1800 words the first day. Hopefully I will still be that inspired tonight.
