I love the way Billy just sort of slips into that numbness over time, and then in the last paragraph how alive he is again when things are finally right...

Nicely done, I very much enjoyed this! I liked the slow build up overall those years, with other partners coming and going but only one constant remaining- Dom. That final scene with the long longed for kiss and then their contentment when they turn back towards the TV- a truly perfect ending. Thanks a lot for sharing this with us!

The build up was killing me there. I wanted to shake both of them, but you brought them back together for me at last.

I actually enjoyed the level of uncomfortable tension they endured. It makes things more interesting that way... :)
