It seems many of my PC's agree and live the Conan version, and sometimes I wish I lived that version as well.

But I, for better or worse, seemed to be cursed to be the guy who stands up for the poor lamenting women rather than the guy cutting a path through their husbands/boyfriends/brothers. This leaves me in the friend zone more often than in the Knight in shining armor zone.

Maybe I just need to repeat the mantra, "Ain't my village."
