Off to San Francisco for a wedding. Can't wait; I haven't been back to SF in... hmm... 11 months? Fun part is trying to fit in seeing all my friends still in the area into a 3-day trip with a wedding stuck in the middle.

Off to Norway for 9 days. First half is in Oslo and 1/2 work 1/2 play. The 2nd half is in Bergen and is all play. Fjords, stave churches, sculpture, longboats, and incredibly overpriced everything, here I come.

So previously we have established bagpipes, flutes, and fiddles as undeniably metal.

so all the reminiscing on Laibach has given me an idea.

We need to make a "german industrial covers of pop songs" band that focuses on 90's R&B. You know, La Bouche, Haddaway, Snap, Soul 2 Soul, all that stuff. And what will it be called?

So one curse of Boston being such a college town (seriously, between 1/4 and 1/5 of Boston's population are students) is that the average age at most concerts is... young. Very, very young.
