Silly doctors always think it's in our heads. Unfortunately this is due to the large amount of hypochondiracs (sp?) and drug seekers out there who use phantom symptoms or pain to get drugs or attention. I had a ER doc try to throw me out of the ER because he thought I was drug seeking, even though I had had documented symptoms of panic attacks and had been brought in by an ambulance. But, because it was a psychological and psychosomatic issue, he assumed I was yet another crazy Santa Cruzian and tried to toss me out on the street. Luckily one of the nurses actually read my chart and knew that I was having breathing issues, and fought to let me be admitted overnight. Doctor's don't like patients who don't have concrete diagnoses. I hope it works out for ya, and that you feel better. Maybe get a second opinion from someone who treats you with the respect that your intelligence deserves. ~M
Well crayons are for eating, legos are for playing!
You could pretend you're making necessary office accessories like pen holders and organizers (just with a little lego flair) like windows and flowers and lasers!
New Zealand! Why are you going and where will you be staying while you're there? If you can, you should visit Queenstown. It's got to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. No joke.
I am going because...I have been wanting to for a while now to do my own thing on the other side of the world. I'm planning to stay on farms mostly, hopefully, as part of the WWOOF program. I hope to make it to Queenstown! I'm flying into Auckland, but I'm planning to traverse both islands. When did you go and what for?
My dad lives in Auckland. I'll actually be visiting him around Thanksgiving, right before you get there. It's a great place. I hope you have fun there!
