I woke up at 4:30 this morning with a feeling I just couldn't shake--I had to drain the sink. It had been clogged for too long, and I had finally hit my breaking point. Why at 4:30 am, though? It is becoming spring/summer here in Tulsa, which is nice. I am definitely a summer girl. And things are going really well--the new job health insurance should line up soon, at which point I can say no more Starbucks except for the occasional Saturday, hopefully. Going home for the Madrigal reunion! And got a raise and will work a normal job that pays the bills now! Hooray!

I decided to get lentils, since they are so good for you and so cheap. Unfortunately, I let them boil until I smelled burning. Oops. Mostly the top layer is okay, but every now and then I get one that's a bit smoky.

I can't figure out Tulsa weather. Two days ago, I took a walk in the evening wearing only a sweatshirt and I was fine. Last night we had an ice storm and now everything is very slick. So we're back, and my cat began meowing like crazy, which of course freaked me out because the last time he was doing it he was throwing up. Or, rather, one of the last times I heard him meow he threw up.
