I think leather recliners would count as an emergeny purchase if you already have a 42" or larger HDTV to park them in front of...if you don't then the TV is the emergency purchase item you should be considering...

SO not helping. Yes - giant tv mounted on the wall, but the couch is in front of it, so we're not totally hurting for seating. Just an excuse to get something new and groovy!
