The thing that gets me the most is the people (not even just my age, like my parents age too) who are like "why should I bother to vote, it's not going to change anything", and then proceed to bitch at me about politics. (Which of course happens at work, so I'm kind of forced to listen to it) The fact that this voter apathy seems to be contagious, that everyone wants everything for them, but they don't want to do something for it, not only pisses me off, but kind of scares me.

Although I suppose it'll just make it easier for me to take over America....everyone will hate it but no one will want to do anything about it haha.

On a slightly related note, just about all of my friends are adamently EXCITED about getting to vote, and talking issues and checking out the candiates. Hell, they are sending me things on Facebook that say "Time Lords for Obama" (which, if you think about it is illogical).

That letter *G* sure gets around. I want to be involved, I want to vote, I don't know who to vote for, I don't like either of them. Both spout out about change but both use the system that isn't working, it enforces them and backs up their arguments. All I see is big government, and all I want is for the people to come back and take it back for themselves. I want them to be involved and care, and see that this nation is not fixed by a few people, or by a faceless government, its fixed by all its people. And if you don't want to talk about it, and you don't want to care about it, then you don't deserve the freedom we promised ourselves.
I want a revolution. I don't know how to start one though...suggestions?
I'm all for "for the people, by the people"
This was brought to you by the letter *Carrot*
