wow lisa. that was really good. i love the mix of the personable tale and the almost mythological story and how they correlate. this was excellent to read my dear, like all of your entries.

Great entry. I loved the framing story, and your continued thread of the bird imagery was nicely woven in.

The personal story was also strongly written - I could visualize everything so well. So scary :-(

It was a terrifying night - and even more so because you never know just how you'll behave in that kind of situation until you are there.

Great entry. This is definotly one of your best! Loved how you started and ended it. The descriptions were so vivid throughout that I unfortunately could picture myself there.

The intensity of emotion from that night will forever be burned into me. I'm afraid it left me with a bit of fear for all men, and the realization that even after four years - or fourteen - you might not really KNOW someone.
