It's been nine years. For a long time I could only look at pieces of the experience before it became too much. Now, I am able to consider the whole time without being overwhelmed. It really does get better. I am sorry you are dealing with something similar. It is so common, but so very, very sad.

Time does help, for sure. It's been not quite 14 years, which have included a great deal more fertility drama (now all spent)...but I'm doing OK, if not always great. Life is good now, even when it hurts. <3
