First day of training: Monday

Even though it's cold, even though I haven't ridden a bike since November (or, was it December?), even though I don't want to, I'm going to ride my mountain bike on Monday. Good luck, dude! I still haven't decided if I'm doing the ride or not - I gotta see what races are happening that weekend.

Trainer miles for me today. Ugh.

Good luck! Once you get on the bike and start moving, it will all be great and you'll feel fantastic once you've gotten that first ride out of the way.

after reading this I decided to Gmaps Pedometer my daily bike ride. I assumed my daily bike ride from my house to downtown and back was like 1 mile each way. turns out I'm stupid. it's about 5 miles each way give or take depending on what route I take. I guess I never noticed, but that's what I get for living on the outskirts of town, everything I need to go to is not close by at all.
