I am going to NYC baby. It's going to rule. Once that's done, I'm going to Okoboji. It's going to rule. I've become disenchanted with the whole livejournal thing. It doesn't rule that much. I find that at the beginning I was eager to vent all of my frustrations and emotional (non-)issues to friends in a more clear manner than actually speaking

That is a perfectly fine use for LJ. NYC and Okoboji are both fun places.
