I officially have permanent hours at one of the libraries I work at!! This means that I can now apply for any hours posted within the system! So once school is over, I am definitely going ot keep an eye out for that, because I would love to have the ability to just be able to work at the library wtih occasional seasonal work at the Ramsey House ( Read more... )

Quick run down:

I'm still in library school.

I'm still at the Historical Society and at the Libraries.

I'm still married to the same dork.

I'm going to give this one more try. But if it doesn't work, it doesn't work.

We officially closed on the house this morning!!! It took about an hour, and moving things was a pain in the ass and stressy and the cats aren't too happy with us right now, but you know what? Whatever. Because we are homeowners ( Read more... )

Well, we put another offer on another house. Realtor!Kevin says that we should hear back tomorrow morning, maybe. I hope so. I'd love if we could get this squirreled away!

It's in Minneapolis. Which is kind of a bummer. But...... Oh well. It's a nice house.

Today is my first day back at the Fort since my screw up. I'm admittedly nervous......

I'm hpoing it's a quick day of school tours so I can run home and relax fairly early.

Yesterday we saw a very nice batch of houses. We hit fifteen in one day (by the end I was ready to die), and for the first time, there was a large number of pretty nice houses, houses I could see myself living in. Yeah, they definitely didn't take the offer. So, we're going back out to look at houses this weekend.

I'm disappointed. And I know that's the name of the game.

But I'm still upset.
