[002] [Second Time Around]

Lithium- I've managed to secure employment, and will be looking for housing tomorrow. You would be welcome to accompany me should you wish to leave temporary housing. I believe the section I am considering has connected, but separate living spaces.

[Pause.]And while I appreciate the gifts of paints, I can't seem to get it off of my hands and ( Read more... )

Are you the new member of the house keeping staff?

I haven't actually begun yet, but yes.

I welcome you to our staff, then.

I am Innovator, and if you need any help or have questions involving work, feel free to ask. You may also ask my sister, 00, but she is not the most social. She is a lovely young woman, though and very helpful.

Thank you.

It's nice to meet you, Innovator. And your sister's name is 00? [Pentap pentap. That sounds. Very familiar. His next sentence is a little messier and hastily written.] Might I ask what she looks like?

This is Lithium. That arrangement sounds fine; I've yet to find a position I can contribute to, so I will continue looking.

Leave your stained clothes with me and I'll see what I can so about them. It's just paint.

At least now you can take your time with no fixed deadline. I'm sure we'll spend quite a bit of time moving and settling as well. Thankfully, Section 3 has a private kitchen and washroom facilities.

It is, but it refused to come out of my clothing or skin.

I'd rather acquire a job sooner than later; having nothing to do is making me impatient, though going through "Aurora's" old things has the potential to be productive. I hope you are capable of cooking.

Strange. Are you sure it's paint?

It feels strange taking their old things, but I have found a couple items of particular use- and avoiding the need to buy clothing is helpful for saving up.

I've also heard that small appliances and furniture can be found at a place called Ikea in the islands.

It seems to be paint in nearly every way, excepting that it won't be removed.

Peel or at least scrub off. Is this permanent? My hands are covered in purple flecks. That's the last time I'm flying Windmere through a residential area.

...Maybe I should just give up and dip them in some other color. The paint seems thin and flexible enough...

It seems to be- I assure you, I've been trying since it got on. I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to paint the doorknob...

I might so the same. At least then it could blend in better.

The doorknob? That seems like a bit much.

...I'd be less annoyed if if was any color but pale purple. There's a can of black paint right here. But it's probably better to just buy gloves.

[...reading a book now where one of his friends says something to the effect of "Mystery? I'll just paint my forehead and feet red and never tell anyone why, will that be mysterious enough?" And the bright orange spraypaint. There's more about paint in his canon than I remembered.]

I'm sure it was a good natured prank- they may not have known it would be difficult to remove.

I could see how that would be annoying, and gloves would be useful for the griffins and cold as well, I imagine.

[...that is adorable. And dlkfjas I will tag log when I finish homework, promise.]

It's odd paint. Smells funny. Why've you been painting your skin?

I haven't been- but it seems someone thought a doorknob in temporary housing would look better green. I'm sure it's dried by now, though.

You're here two? Perhaps we've crossed paths without knowing.

I have. I'll be leaving sooner than later, though.

I share a room with Lithium and two others- He's shorter, with vivid purple hair and glasses.

[A pause as he flips back through pages] Elsa, was it?
