Tablet PCs, however, are excellent for this purpose. It's a lot easier when you can see what you're drawing on the actual surface. Too bad they cost too fucking much.

Are you talking about a WACOM tablet?

I have one at work, I love it - though it's taken some getting used to. I found it helps to 1) not think of it as drawing with a pencil, but a new kind of drawing. 2) Tracing small, simple drawings.

TOYS! I love being a professional graphic freaking designer! ^_^

Yeah, though I could only afford a Graphire 3. It skips sometimes, which is one of my biggest frustrations, but at least I'm learning.

Did you remember to set everything to be pressure sensitive in photoshop ( or whatever software you're using to draw with.)

Yeah, the pressure sensitivity works fine (and is pretty cool). I guess I'm just too stubborn and want something that looks like my drawings on paper. :)
