...Wow, I didn't even think of that. That Erik would be projecting. And then...wow. Still intense. Poor Erik though. Still so much for them to work through. I can't wait to meet Sophia and the kids though. I think Erik will be good with kids. The end was so sweet by the way. In a heartbreaking way. Erik had built himself on so much hate....and once again, then you recall that canon Erik continues to live with all that hate....::sigh::. Starting new. Less angry. Beautiful.

Beautiful chapter, very interesting and moving (all of that is an understatement, of course, my vocabulary is still failing me)!!!

Michael is getting more and more valuable in my eyes. And he's really helping Erik and Charles in so many ways.

I guess Erik's left hand is better now, if he can use it to light cigarettes and comb his hair. Can't wait to see him and Charles all functional (with their body, at least. Their minds, though, harder...)

I like the intensity of this chapter and how we can see Erik through Fraser's eyes. I think you managed to to show him with almost every possible side- there's how he acts around children, how he cares about Charles. It's his soft, more vulnerable but also the most beautiful side. Then there's his general dislike (if not hate) toward humans and his ability to kill with cold blood, et cetera. All this things make him who he is.
I think I understand how you feel about Magneto and this thing about fics authors- it's true, there's this tendency to make a saint person from Charles and to clean up Erik's actions. I don't really understand it, they're so much interesting as flawed and sometimes arrogant/stupid/et cetera ones! That's way I like your story, you don't do it.
Erik projecting! Wow, I somehow didn't expect that, that's a great idea! Also I'm so gkad that Charles sees a new beginning for them, it's a huge change from his helpless attitude.
Only about five chapters left? Well, that's sad news.

Although the way it came about was not ideal, I think it will probably do Erik some good to have seen himself through Fraser's eyes like that. Great chapter! :)
