40 and loving it!

Yesterday I turned 40. It was fantastic! I got to work and my cubicle was decorated with streamers and signs and flowers. I took a picture but it doesn't want to leave my phone so I'll try to bring a camera in tomorrow. Someone made cupcakes and several people brought in dark chocolate. Yum! No singing. It sounds like you had a great birthday!

My friends at work surprised me by decorating an area with banners and such, it make you feel special. Post your picture when you can.

Enjoy your birthday month, stretch it out as long as you can.

Hope your dads surgery goes smoothly :)

Thanks for keeping dad in your thoughts. I'm sure it will be okay but he's old and mom is nervous.

If A can give up the camera for a day (he needed it for work this week) I can take pictures. If not I'll give a more detailed description or try to find something on line that looks close. ;-)

Is there a way you normally can just take a picture with your phone and upload it and post it to LJ? I've been wondering about that because sometimes there are things you see that you just feel the need to share!

I'm not sure. Part of my problem is I don't have a data package for my phone so need to figure out how to get the picture off my phone and onto my computer. I'm only half way into the new digital age. :)

Sounds like a great day!

At my old job, we made everyone wear a tiara while we sang Happy Birthday to them before we ate, because we always had cake and snacks for B-days. *g*

Glad to hear you had a great day! I think turning 40 was quite a turning point in my life, and it sounds like you are embracing yours much the same way. Enjoy this next decade - starting with your birthday month. :)

Thanks! I plan to enjoy this new decade to the fullest. Of course, I should start with actually focusing on work during the day instead of playing online. ;)
