Welcome to My World (spoiler alert)

Yes, I did want to see what Johnny writes about his own life. Usually I don't fangirl people at all, but if I can buy a CD from a singer whose music has given me pleasure, then I can buy Johnny's book since he has provided me with much joy.

Welcome )

I love him. He's a sweet and imperfect little human being, smart and foolish and beautiful and silly.

I'm so jealous you got your copy already! I've heard a lot of people say they got theirs but mine hasn't arrived yet. :\

He's given us so much, I'm proud to be his fangirl. ^^

Yours will come soon. <3

When I said I don't "fangirl" I meant that I don't fawn over celebrities in person. But I am a fangirl in that I admire his talent and his uniqueness and his heart. I do have a big-time girlcrush on him. :D

Me too and I'm married! My husband doesn't mind though because he knows there's absolutely nothing to worry about. It's like the safest crush to have. ^-^

I think if I ever came face-to-face with Johnny I'd probably stand there like a complete dork, trying to think of something to say to him. And he'd probably end up calling for security! :D

This whole comment is me exactly! Except that my husband finds it baffling and irritating.

I once met one of the Phelps twins (who play the Weasley twins in the HP films) and I'm not even a particular fan of theirs and I still just stood and smiled stupidly while my brain shut down completely, so I can't begin to imagine how I'd react to Johnny, who I adore.

Oh lucky you to have his book already! I hope mine will arrive next week sometime. I always think the things Johnny says are interesting and entertaining and thoughtful so I hope his writing is the same.

His writing is much like his voiceovers from BGJW. He's odd and funny and, yes, thoughtful, and says anything he likes. I think someone convinced him to pull a few punches, though. Like not naming his first love. And so far he's not being evil to Evan, although that may come!

someone convinced him to pull a few punches I suspect that may have been his publisher's legal team! The not naming his first love I can understand because even if he ('Alex') is out (and assuming, as seems likely, that it was Drew then I don't think he is, though I don't know enough about him to be sure) imagine the media frenzy the pour soul would have to endure, I can't blame him for not wanting that and requesting a pseudonym.

I do believe you are correct about the legal team. Johnny doesn't have a brain-mouth filter, so he blurts out things like "I'm going to name names" and "I won't use autotune." And then... heh. Pseudonyms and autotune.

Poor bb.

Monties fangirling is just adorable, because they are ususally such calm and cerabral creatures. It's too adorable to see them with their fur all wild, eyesshinign and engaged in the life-enhancing sport that is a spot of fangirling *takes photo*

P.s. Idlepuppy is called Shadow. As it happens.

pps. Happy 2011. Ok for you so far???

Slothie!! (((((HUGS))))) Happy New Year and it's a great one so far. For you, too?

Monties tend to employ a calm sort of fangirling. Monties try to be cool, you dig? But deep inside where it counts, monties are quite, quite excited when they are around someone worthy of their fangirly hearts. (preens)

Did England get snow? I think I saw some pretty pictures. We got snow and then most of it melted which surprised me a lot. I thought there was too much to melt before spring, but 50-degree days will do that. I'm kind of looking forward to another gorgeous twilight snowfall. It feels so medieval when it's snowing.

Monty's mom ALSO has a dog named Shadow! Clearly a popular name for the four-legged critters we love. Johnny was so funny when he said "no relation." He can be funny, that silly boy.

Icon of my new obsession. I'm going through them way too fast these days.

*Hugs back, with tail-cling* Glad the New Year has treated you well so far. 2011 has had the cheek to be a bit mixed already, but this does at least leave room for improvement ( ... )
