Back in Michigan... again for the 2nd time in about 6 weeks. This time is to baby sit mom and help her organize and go through some closets. Dad is busy with his new and wonderful job in Indiana and due to the fact that mom got sick recently, she needs help. I am still not employed so ergo ... Tada! Slave girl! Well folks we are off on another road trip. This time to Memphis, TN for a cousin's wedding. This should be fun meeting the other side of the family. I am also getting to play dress up!!

well I am finally sucking it up and looking into gym memberships. I can walk until I am blue in the face, but reality is I need to add resistance to all the weight loss stuff. Curves seems to be in the front running with the convenience to home and ease of use. I will be going there to check it out tomorrow in the AM and we shall see from there ( Read more... )

made it to michigan in one piece and am enjoying spending time with my parents. mom looks way better than i expected and should find out tomorrow when she can start therapy (woot!). Drew and I went to see Cirque du Soleil last night... I barely have the words to describe what was experienced. The individual shows were ineradicable. The contortionists, the trapeze artist with amazing skill and awesome red and blonde hair. The apartment management are finally getting off their butts by gutting and I do mean completely gutting the apartment next door. I don't have any true resolutions, just items that I want to continue doing or get back on the wagon of progress. I hope that everyone has a better year this time around. Last year seemed to be difficult for many.
