Not again !

Well following my teaching I was heading back to the office - it was really busy and the traffic was so ditzy and monday with folks on their mobiles, eating Gods knows what

Now Leeds has an inner ring road - it is an urban motorway - it is a dual carriage way and people drive like idiots most of the time

so the road goes under the city in a series ( Read more... )

We saw a woman wandering like that at the side of the M1 once when we were off darn sarf and we rang the police - couldn't stop as she was on the opposite side to us, we were so worried, the police said they'd get someone there straight away. And then there was the dog on the M62 a month or so back. I just don't understand how people can be so uncaring.

Have a lovely big hug you lovely woman you

Oh I reported a dog too the other day was running up the southbound M1 at rush hour - again no one had reported it and the police phoned back to say it was ok as I was so upset

thanks honey I just get so upset that people are all mouth and no action and so many people just dont seem to give a crap about anything other than themselves -sure you need to be careful about what you do and how that is respected but things like this are just being a good caring human being never mind any deeper karmic meanings ha ha

I have sweeties now I am calming down !

Much thanks and love

thanks honey I do sometimes feel that I am in a minority who see things like this and does something - same as if I see animals that have been hit I will go and move them good Gods they have had the indignity and misfortune to be hit and then are left - sure there are times when you cant but I always have gloves in the car and will do my best and you get shouts of abuse and crap and I get so cross - I would like to think if someone hit one of my lovelies they would at least stop and move it so they arent squished but hey ho !

Thank you for your kind comment

much love as always

What I always think about those situations is - that person belongs to someone. Someone's mum, aunty, etc etc. I saw an old lady once shuffling around in slippers and nighty under an overcoat in a shopping centre and went and spoke to her to see if she was ok. She clearly wasnt - but thankfully she had only just escaped from a nearby home and one of the carers caught up with her a minute or two after I did, so all was well.

My dad escaped at 4 in the morning when he had alzheimers - he simply lost the need/ability to sleep which made life very difficult, but he seemed to make a beeline for the house next door but one, and scared them to death by knocking on the window to complain he couldnt get into the boot of their car!! They bought him home, thankfully, but if he had got a bit further he might have hit the main road, and I would hope that someone would have alerted the police.

You did a good thing today Mooncat :D

Oh MG spot on and this is what I think about people animals when I see them abandoned or hurt or wandering the old lady at the school wanted some milk and her home care hadnt come so she had set off to Asda which is about a mile from her home - she had just got out of hospital and was not mentally capable never mind physically capable she had fallen and hit her head on a concrete post it was such a mess and people were just ignoring her and she said she had no one and I asked again did she have any family - she said no one that bothered with her any more - how bloody sad - people were dropping childen off all round where this poor woman laid - the future generations seeing their own parents didnt give a dam about a frail old woman lying half on the bloody road - gods I Was so so cross ( ... )
