ALICE IN WONDERLAND
I saw 'Alice' today in 3D at the IMAX. I don't have other views to compare it to yet, but I loved the digital 3D in IMAX size. I never felt like I was viewing 3D at all unless I turned my head too far from center or took the glasses off. Holy crap,people, it's 'canon', not 'CANNON'!!!! And if I read one more crapfic supposedly written and posted 'for lolz', without even the most basic spell check, written because someone didn't want to study or do their homework or were bored or whatever, I'll PUKE! -

Shopping Channels and Their Hosts
I am much amused by the three shopping channels I get and their musical hosts. It seems to go like this - when you are on top, either as a manufacturer or designer, you are on QVC, where the carny hype and the total crap is kept to a minimum, and the hosts rarely look like hookers, outright hucksters or child molesters, and most seem well-educated ( Read more... ) -
Last day of the weekend... :-(
Today is definitely going to be a "vege" day. I had hoped it would be cooler, but it's 10:30 a.m. and I just turned the a/c on :-(
Saturday at Fiesta Hermosa was fun as always, and I bought goodies - some silver 'moon' earrings, and two knit tops, plus odds 'n ends. It was warm there, but there was a nice breeze, so it wasn't awful.

A nice day out....
After a nice sound sleep :-D I got up this morning and made some special cookies that I was stupid enough to buy, and agree to report on for a diabetes forum. It was one of those "if it sounds too good to be true, it is" things - the cookies were dry and tasted yucky. They didn't raise my blood sugar, but they were gross.
