as the afro-beat orchestra crescendoed to its most triumphant burst in the fifteen minutes of song, she kissed me as we danced. and in the darkened room, amongst the people we knew were watching and the people that weren't, we couldn't stop. we kissed and kissed and danced.
there is nothing like it.

i am to see her again tonight.
much to the delight, apparently, of all of our mutual friends.
it's very strange to actually, really like someone again.
someone that isn't a best friend or lindsay (which is really the same thing) especially.

but i'll reply anyway.
it was the baltimore afro-beat society. they're awesome, but sometimes i think all afro-beat sounds good and similar, and as long as you have about 15-20 moderately talented musicians with a tremendous amount of endurance and a couple girls with long hair who like to dance and sing, you've got yourself a pretty good afro-outfit.
i think i might also be in ny new year's, by the way.
but i don't know about 100 bucks for antibalas. well, i do. that is preposterous, because i am poor.
know of anything else going on?
