So I'm fairly sure I have a new job lined up, possibly starting next week, possibly the one after. Though I'm a little apprehensive since the people I'd be working for seem to be getting much better practiced at putting out the fires they make for themselves. ...is that a good or a bad thing? :p I've been doing my best to come off as understanding ( Read more... )

huh, mabey the people out this far can't be bothered and the tweakers in town aren't quite willing to scout the desert.

I'm just south of Virginia City. There seem to be quite a few trails around, I hear dirt bikes off in the distance regularly. I can't wait to get my 4Runner down here :)

Which job - you mean back in Oregon? Would you travel all that way to go back to work?

If you come across a big cache of steel pipe suitable for fencing corrals, let me know...we'll take a trip to get it!

I'm definately keeping watch for stuff like that, and hike with my GPS to mark it when I find it. The way it's rusted and weathered makes it look very rustic and would go well at your place.
