So I'm fairly sure I have a new job lined up, possibly starting next week, possibly the one after. Pre-insanity leading up to insanity week.
So, all this time (past few weeks) when I was expecting to be doing little things to get ready to move, work has been keeping be busy enough that I haven't done anything. So for the past year or so I've been thinking more seriously about replacing my current truck, an old Ford diesel, withsomething else. In some respects it is way overkill for my needs in the past few years, and has proven to be inadequate in other ways. I now realize that I have not known the meaning of gross until I came home today. I have had a minor problem with mice getting into stuff, so I set a bunch of traps when I left thursday. Life and travels update
I'd forgotten how the days fly by when you're unemployed :p When home, I always seem to keep busy around the place, so I'm never counting the hours bored.
Last weekend I made a trip up to Seattle to hang out with Tarin_yote Rummy_raccoon and Arkydashep among others. It was a fairly low key weekend, eating, hanging out, and Saturday night we caught Laser Floyd in the Imax ( Read more... ) -
