Well I finished my first large quilt today. I am a little sad that is looks like my first...I didn't have a big enough table to smooth all the back out so it is not clean and pristine but I am not taking all the seams out and restitching...so I will live with it. Well I am working on my first ever quilting project with instructions. I am making a sampler quilt that is about the size of a baby quilt. I am first trying everything out on some random cotton fabric I have and then I will try it on the "real" fabric. Well we woke up this morning to lots of snow! Mike says it is likely somewhere between 6-8 inches. Apparently it was really sticky snow because is coated the tress and even my birdfeeder (which sports about 3 inches on the top I was shocked). It looks like we are living in a winter wonderland.
