I don’t know if any other cities got this e-mail rumor, but Orlando did. It basically stated that the gas stations across Florida were going to shut down for four days. I'll help you! Nothing like that happened in Saint Louis, but geez! How could anyone be such a jack off? How did you know it was a hoax? Because if you knew, some of these other people had to know, right?

Also, we hear that gas has been selling in Atlnata, among other places for $5 to$8 a gallon.. someone needs to call the gouging hot-line.. FAST

I felt it had to be a hoax because if all the gas stations shut down for that long it would bring the city to a stand still and there is no way the local government is going to let that happen. Even after the hurricanes we had last year there were a few gas stations that still had power, and they opened as soon as possible to get gas out to the public.
