I am not a moron. No. 46 587, in a series...

Phone rings. It's Martha - old secretary: "Josie, I have that extension cord you ordered. Can you come pick it up so I can show you how it works?"

Josie: "Cool, I'll be right there."

Goes upstairs... Goes to see Martha...

Martha: "So. You take that end and you plug it into the phone, then you take that end and plug it into the wall."

thanks.

lol it's still very funny.
My boss was telling Elliott and I a couple of days ago about a woman and her computer. She called saying she couldn't hear any sounds, she never tried to listen to anything on the computer before until recently, he tried to come up with a solution over the phone, but nothing worked, so then he said to bring the computer to our place... but then the woman asked if she would need speakers to hear sounds on the computer... yeah.

People are funny.

Our part time contract worker couldn't figure out why her documents wouldn't print. Turns out the printer was out of paper.

My boss.

She may be good at marketing, but she's completely computer illiterate

hahahaha!!!

kind of like people who tell me I have to empty my trash can on the desktop when I say the hard drive's full.... *facepalm*

hmmm...

it would yes, but my trashcan is never full. I HAVE to empty it in order to run windows because the drive is too full...

the point being people presume I know nothing about computers for some reason even though I could show them some and even more.

ok, ok, bad example...

hehe! okay. i was just wondering.. felt a little sily emptying the trash can all those times to open up the harddrive a little when it was all in vain!

hehehe..

I get what you mean though.. when people ask if you did the most obvious things! Like "I can't find a book in the library." Response: "did you check on muse if it's in the library?"
