It's my birthday today. Not feeling as thrilled as I usually do. But not feeling suicidal, either, so I guess that's a good thing.
Will probably feel better about it on the weekend when I actually get to see my friends. Although I am going out for dinner with Marie-Claude after work.. and then having drinks with Mel tonight. Looking forward to that.

As predicted, it is 3:30 a.m. and I am wide awake. Got woken up by a text message which turned out to be an fb mobile update. I normally turn my phone off over night, but I wanted to have it on in case my parents called. Anyway, there are some last-minute items I'd like to pack and a few things to take care of. I just downloaded the lj app to my itouch. Good and bad. I like being able to read my friends' fb updates on a cafe without my computer. Except some entries are making me want to laugh or cheer or even put my head down and cry a little. You're all beautiful people.
