Should I risk taking my knitting needles onto the plane?

maybe I can figure out how to crochet.

Should actually be okay, but if you're really worried, two pencils, or chopsticks. Or casein needles. Not metal, actually I think they are made from milk protein, and don't set off the detectors.

i wouldn't take anything that you wouldn't be willing to throw away. maybe take some cheapy plastic needles? it would suck to have to toss something to get through security.

hehe! love the subject-specific icon!

yeah, i think i can live without these needles if I don't get to take them with me.

thanks, Ali!

also: did I see you today on the corner of... um, I think it was Parc Ave. or maybe Saint-Urbain. You were wearing a white dress. I was biking by.

I was able to bring knitting with me when I flew to Seattle in January... and this is super-dee-duper high-ass security in Ah-mare-ih-cuh.
