I really love what I do, so I thought it would be a great place to spent the summer. Except it is for deaf/hard-of-hearing students. I didn't think I would be "deaf enough" to qualify. So I asked Dr

go with whichever pays the best with the better connections in the end, also networking is key so I mean you could spend another year with the same people doing the same thing which is still a great job, but you also have to think about your resume after your undergrad. . . . . .both jobs are great, it's just one is new, and then the other is just what you have been doing. . . .

and I wouldn't worry about being alone for a little bit, it's the summer people go places, michigan isn't far, and I'm sure you'd make friends :O)

So, I just have to say this in a joking manner as one of the few people who wasn't pressuring you into learning ASL...

...and you thought ASL would never be useful for you...

...because let's face it, you grew up in the hearing world, so it's more likely that as go get more deaf, you will simply learn to read lips since you've already begun to do that.

Hahah I'm actually taking it next quarter. My Wines of the World was canceled, so I decided to take the Deaf studies one. JLo was all like....that is so you. Being like, I don't want to learn ASL bitches and getting everyone all pissed. And then taking it on my own terms (and once they didn't give a fuck anymore)

Dude! the whole time people were explaining to me all the reasons why you should learn ASL during the scandal, i told them that if they stopped pressuring you, chance were that you would want to learn it as if it was your own idea! haha. if only they could have listened the first time.
