It has been another long while. I have been long term subbing since January. The teacher is out on maternity leave with her second child. I am teaching five class periods of highschool English. My holiday season has been delightful. I was able to finagle Thanksgiving at my house this year and it went fabulously despite its many possibilities of going very, very wrong. I got to sleep in today. It was quite lovely. I was a little disappointed because I woke up every hour after 7 o’ clock. I stayed in bed until 9:40am and then finally gave up on getting anymore sleep. I spent the morning catching up on some much needed housecleaning. I've been told that calling Spreckels naughty doggy is too cutesy. So I will just use her name in the future. My evening was uneventful at best. I had some tasty veggie dogs at Anna & Josh's, talked to Emily, walked Spreckels, and went to bed. Doesn't make for a very exciting update, but there you have it.
