The power card for my computer has died. Have only a few minutes left on the laptop. Guess I'll be ordering a new one from school.

Uhh, not to sound like a neo-luddite (too late), but what is a power card?

I believe the power card is the portion of a laptop computer which contains the AC converter, the part which permits the laptop to be plugged into conventional electrical outlets for recharging. Or it may simply be the battery assembly. I am not that familiar with laptops.

I actually meant to type power cord... which means the adapter. The thing that charges the laptop had died, and my battery drained through the night. Very distressing!
