Ontario Today was all about "how you're coping with the writer's stike" today. COPING?! It's TV for god's sake, pick up a book! Am I the only one that is completely not affected by the strike?

I haven't had TV since April, and at my old house I went from 2000 to 2004 without the tube as well.

TV is even better now. Because of the writers strike we can watch the new American Gladiators and Celebrity Apprentice.

I don't watch a lot of tv on tv. Usually if I watch tv shows they're already old and cancelled and I watch them on my computer. The strike hasn't affected my life at all ... as long as it's over by the time Lost is supposed to be back on.

props to malcolm for indicating in his response that he added influence.. very formal!

and TV strike.. i pretty much have no idea what is going on. all i watch is a streamed version of the national on cbc.ca. tara watches metropia, but that practically writes itself! (plus its canadian, duh!)

I'm actually impressed by CBC's new line up, I watched J-pod, which I expected nothing from, but it turned out to be pretty good. Otherwise, I'm in the same boat, news and at most, old cancelled tv on dvd.

I think the only person who should be affected by the strike is keifer sutherland, and she should be happy... with the whole glug glug, vroom vroom thing, he can be in jail AND not screw up this season of 24.

Have no idea what's going on with the strike or with tv? The strike is kind of interesting. Consult wikipedia ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Writers_Guild_of_America_strike ... ha ha ha
