 The news has really got me embarassed about Canada lately. In 2003 I remember being pretty proud, even if a lot of it was just Chretien going out with a bang. We didn't go to Iraq, we had legalized same-sex marriage, we had no laws against pot...things were good.

Yeah yeah, I know, could be a lot worse, but it could be sooo much better...

Yes, yes, yes and I'm not shedding any tears for unilingual white males... I hope Adrian doesn't read this. Whats so hard about learning French in your part time?

I know, but I am. Looking at my graduating classes of MA students, there's a massive disparity of female to male hiring rates, even the better-qualified guys continue to be passed-over. I know, you could argue that it's a long time coming or balancing out or what-not, but when it's that obvious I still think it's discrimination, reverse or not. I do speak French, have you taken the test? You don't learn that type of French in school or even private schools, you pretty much have to pay $500 to take the Algonquin government classes, which I'm not against, I just don't have $500.
