You cannot write a bunch of crap in an appendix in your paper and then cite yourself throughout said paper via the stuff you wrote in the appendix. Referencing doesn't work that way. At all.
You also can't cite the paper in its own bibliography. There's something cosmically wrong with that.
Somehow, despite having a film degree, I've managed to never see The Great Dictator. I'm using it for my thesis, the last scene is insane. Apparently it was started before WWII and Chaplin was going to shelve it because once the slaughter started, Hitler wasn't that funny anymore. But Franklin Roosevelt intervened and asked him to keep making it.

Toronto is implementing these pedestrian scrambles at four intersections this spring. Yonge/Bloor and Yonge/Dundas ar among them! It's a really good idea- a full light just for pedestrians to cross every way they can, but I'm sure people are going to be hit in the first few weeks...Torontonians are in no way an patient as Japanese people.
Anyone who's stumped for costumes, check this party out .

I called to have our couch delivered a couple of days early and was told that they oversold, and despite the "guarantee" to have it delivered the first week of November, we'd likely get it in December...but maybe January...maybe, no way to tell.
