Well, I moved to Lafayette, and I have my own apartment. I got hired at the Daily World in Opelousas, but I couldn't find an apartment in Opelousas. I ended up finding one in Lafayette, and I'm pretty happy about that because I'm planning to put in for a transfer to the Advertiser within 6-12 months ( Read more... )

I've been doing some light raiding with my Warlock lately. The guild I'm in these days schedules daytime weekend runs of ZG and AQ20. Even the weekday runs are at about 7:30 or 8, which isn't totally unreasonble. Then again, I get up at 6:30 every day for work--thus mostly on the weekends.

We're hitting AQ20 for the first time tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it even though there isn't much hawt lock loot in there.

Yeah, that's really my problem. My MC raid ran untl midnight last night, and then I had to get up early and go to work today. Right now I'm down for AQ20 on Friday nights, ZG on Saturday nights and MC on Sunday nights. That's too much. Plus, if I decide to ever have a REAL life and go out and hang out with real people, I take a hit in DKP and I can't ever get any items. So raiding is a little lame. Except last night I got Obsidian Edged Blade for my warrior, and that rocks.

That's awesome that you play a warlock. I love my warlock. I hate PvP with my warrior, but my warlock has been rocking the battlegrounds lately. So. Much. Fun. What spec is your lock? I have mine conflag specced so I can burn shit up. Anyway, I made a Robe of the Void for my warlock, but if you're not a tailor, you can get a Vestments of the Shifting Sands for your lock from the first boss in AQ20. It's hot pink, I know, but it has good stats.

I powerleveled my tailoring to 300 in a day when I got my Robe of the Boid recipe. It took me a little longer to gather the mats.

I was heavy demonology for most of my leveling career. While I was doing 5-mans mostly, I went DS/Ruin (9/21/21), which led to some HUGE numbers for Shadowbolt crits.

Right now I've specced back to MD/Ruin (0/30/21) for raiding. The big imp buff makes the MT happy, and the 20% less thread makes me happy. I do a little less DPS, but I still get nice happy numbers.

I'm wearing all blues and a couple purples right now. We run a zero-sum dkp system, so it's a little easier to hang when you can only raid occasionally. For the longest time, I couldn't get any caster loot to drop, but I got this to drop for me on Saturday.

I'm so happy that you are doing so well! Lafayette is a great town--very busy, but still very spread out and very fun! So proud of you, girl...get it!! Oh and about the WOW thing, one of my co-workers is obsessed with that game--actually she and her husband met through the game!! He moved here all the way from Arizona, can you believe it? sheesh! Anyways, glad to hear everything's going great!! Good luck in the future hon!
