Chin and Kono look amused by the outburst. They are more obviously locals of Hawaii than Steve is, but they are also freakishly tall and quite frankly way too hot to work as civil servants, causing Danny to wonder whether the governor handpicked her entire task force at some crazy ass Hawaiian fashion show.

Thanks so much. Those where some of my favorite lines, too. Yeah, only in tv land are cops ever this hot. ;) But at least the h50 coronor doesn't look like he just stepped off a runway. That always creeps me out.

This was lovely!

The Steve/Danny banter was spot on and I really liked all of your descriptions of the auras the different characters had.

And of course Steve and Danny are instantly attracted to each other and that they have such an easy camaraderie between them--great work on this fic :)
