Finally gave in and bought a new car. (The pictures aren't the best; I need to go out and get some better ones once I get home.)

I miss the Miata, but it's hard to miss it too much with a turbocharged engine that puts out this much torque...

Y'know, that car looks awfully familiar...if it's a Mazda3 hatchback like mine, then may I congratulate you on your taste and reassure you that you've made an excellent purchase, both in terms of driving dynamics and cargo capacity. =D

I saw that it was the Speed model. It's cool, though - I wanted the extra fuel economy for mine, and I'm consistently surprised at how much passing power it has even without the turbocharger. Plus I got such an awesome deal on it (it was a year old, in brand new shape and had been sitting on the lot for about nine months prior) that I'm not complaining. :)

Alas, nope... this one does have a turbo, though, which makes up for it somewhat. :)
