Got around to making Alton Brown's soft pretzel recipe. The results were spectacular, with only one genetically-deformed exception:

Yeah, I would say so. A bit more work, though.

During my visits to NYC I buy pretzels from street vendors regularly. These look just as good if not better. kudos
