This past Sunday I developed a dry cough and I felt very run down. It's a good year to be me so far. I'm pregnant, I'm getting promoted to senior manager, I'm having a girl. It's a good year to be me!

Mandi gets to come home tomorrow! Yay! The docs were able to avoid the toxins doing any damage to her kidneys and she is doing well. We visited her last night and tonight and she seemed happy to see us. I felt bad for her. My little Mandi is in the hospital. Jim had gotten me a bouquet of flowers for our anniversary last week that had a few tiger lilies in it. Today the lilies opened up and she got into them. I found her in the kitchen playing with a few of the orangey-stem things from the middle of the flower. Her face was all stained orange. We looked it up ( Read more... )

I love the Olympics! I just love seeing hard-earned dreams come true. I love the fact that for two weeks every two years, people from all over the world with all different backgrounds can get along. I also love watching Michael Phelps swim! LOL
